Tafari Financial Services makes it possible for members to provide risk coverage for their employees. The members can join as individual companies, associations, or bargaining councils. The policy provides a lump-sum payment based on the cover chosen in the Table Below.  For all valid claims, the payment will be made within 24 working hours after receiving all claim documents.
The policy is available  to all registered companies who want funeral cover for their employees in the Republic of South Africa. Tafari Financial Services will have distribution agreements suitable for each company. The policy is designed to cover the employees only. There is no waiting period on this policy for natural causes and accidental death. There is a waiting period of 12 months for suicide.

The policy offers a R60,000 death benefit (with impairment payments reducing this amount), permanent disablement benefits up to R60,000 based on disability percentage, and temporary disability payments of R1,250 weekly for total disability or R500 weekly for partial disability (both for up to 156 weeks and decreasing permanent disability benefits).


Additionally, the policy covers medical expenses for accident-related injuries when costs exceed R1,000, with coverage up to R250,000 per member in a three-year cycle. Medical expense reimbursement applies to treatment received within 24 months of the accident date for injuries occurring during the insurance period.
